Make sure you are realistic in your list of requirements: for example, if you are looking to hire an inter developer - do not expect him/her to be a master of 5-10 different programming languages, even most professional programmers will not be able to to do that, in the same way, that year 3 accounting student will not be able to use SAGE but instead they might have used a local accounting programmme.

Also, be realistic about language requirements - does your company conduct a business in English? If yes, English fluency might be necessary, but just adding it into your requirements without any merit means that you automatically disqualify amazing applicants who might not be fluent in English.
